What a VG Project Is
A VG Project is the coordination unit for one sponsored engagement: a single contract, a defined set of participating entities and experts, a shared milestone map, and one evidence record. Larger programs break into several projects — one per workstream — each with its own team and milestones, which is how contribution is attributed to the right participants. Every project runs on contract governance and the GAME Plan Engine, which is what makes cross-entity delivery legible to a sponsor.
The term is deliberate rather than decorative. A VG Project is scoped by its contract, not by the systems underneath it, so the same unit keeps its name and its boundaries as settlement and anchoring infrastructure is certified. What you scope as a VG Project today is the unit that gets anchored later, without renaming the model underneath your programs.
Value Generation Contracts (VGCs)
A VGC defines the scope, milestones, expert assignments, data standards, and success criteria for a specific engagement. Milestone Architecture
